The Carrick Coastal Rowing Club was formed in 2012, holding its first meeting on 19th March 2012 at Maidens Bowling Club.

The boat will be based at Maidens Harbour and in time it is planned to build a club house and small boat repair and maintenance facility. Practice sessions will be given to all, although if successful advanced bookings may be necessary.

Competitions, events and leisure days out are envisaged with other clubs and it is hoped that this will enhance community spirit and provide activities for all ages.
