Dropping Off or Picking Up is in the car park at the side of the terminal found by using the main entrance and following the road around. Take a ticket at the barriers on the way in. Exit is about: up to 1 hour £3, 2 hours £6. Pay machines are in the car park and at the exit barriers.

Short and Long Stay holiday car parks.

There are no private car parks at Prestwick Airport at this time. The Airport itself offers four car parks such as:

Car Park 1: self park, situated right in front of the terminal, just a 1 - 2 minute walk from the terminal building. Price guide about £19 for a day pre-booked, can go down to about £10 per day for longer stays. Map.

Car Park 2: self park, situated next to Car Park One in an elevated position, only a short walk to the terminal. Price guide about £16 per day pre-booked, can go down to about £8 per day for longer stays. Map.

Car Park 3: self park, situated across the road from the terminal just a short 6-7 minute walk from the terminal. Easily accessible by foot via the railway station walkway as seen on the image above. Entry is from the roundabout right at the Terminal. Price guide about £50 per week pre-booked. Map.

Car Park 4: self park, is a budget holiday park situated by the runway close to the terminal with a courtesy bus. Entry from the roundabout 300 yards south of the Airport. This park is only open in summer if needed, for stays of three days and over.

Watsons was taken over by Prestwick Airport in 2008. Watsons and Car Park 7 on the north side of the airport are now closed, all car parks are now around the terminal on the south side of the runway, run by the airport.

Glasgow International Airport is situated west of Glasgow in the area of Paisley. There is a bus link (about 15 minutes travel) from Glasgow International to Paisley or Glasgow Central Train Stations. Trains run between Glasgow Central, Paisley, Irvine, Troon, Prestwick and Ayr every 20 minutes.
